"Quality First - Quantity Next"

On Sunday the 1st of May I had the distinct pleasure to work with an up and coming clothing designer Bri Seeley. Featured to the left in the photograph below. Bri is currently one of the finalist in the Seamless in Seattle Fashion contest.
So if you would please click and vote for her. She is a superb talent and a kind soul that deserves our support.

You cant go wrong with a combination of wonderful talent and the beautiful surroundings of an Tumwater land mark, such as The Old Olypmia Brewery.Olympia beer was brewed onsite from 1896 until 2003, using the slogan, "It's the water" to sell the taste. In its final years, the brewery also made Lucky Lager, Rainier Beer, and Henry Weinhard's, as those northwest breweries closed. While this famous Tumwater, Washington company owned other breweries prior to Prohibition, it gained prominence with a single brand produced in a single plant. The excellence of its beer has been attributed to the excellent quality of the water - hence their slogan "It's the Water" - but full credit should be given to Olympia's founder, Leopold F. Schmidt who's business model was "Quality First - Quantity Next."

If you watch carefully in the classic movie The Graduate, you'll see Dustin Hoffman sipping on an Olympia beer.
In the image above talent as follows: lower left corner Jessica Johnson, top right Jessi Williams and front right Kristin Grinde.

What takes an image to the next level? Make-up and hair styling of course, which was provided by Olympia's own Devi Pack. Model Jessica Johnson

I love it when they bring their A Game!! Model Jessi Williams

Editorial piece for Fender Bender magazine.

Fender Bender magazine hired me to do a Editorial piece for their upcoming April issue. It is an article based on superior customer service displayed by a body shop located in Everett Wa. This will be a two page spread in the April edition, both online and in print. Image is slightly desaturated with one key light to the front and right of the subject.

"Never Know Where Your Next Opportunity Will Come From."

I reconnected with an old friend Shawn Ecklund that I haven't talk to in many years. He asked me "do you want to meet and Photograph the Uber famous band Black Label Society". Um Hell yes!!!! I got to meet Zakk Wylde, John "JD" Deservio, Nick Cantanese and Will Hunt when they were in town in September 2010. First day/night got to watch their rehearsal at a small venue and then sunday we crashed a church in downtown Seattle between services and here are some of the images I got. Some of the coolest guys I ever met. Thanks for the Memories. You guys ROCK!!!!!
