Welcome to Shawn Kinney Photography

I have always had a love for photography my entire life. In 2003 I bought my first DSLR and began exploring digital photography. Instantly I knew that this was my chosen path. My passion lies in location photography with a fashion/editorial flavor. I artistically blend natural and artificial light in a way that captures the emotion of the moment from his perspective through the lens. In the “digital darkroom” I have perfected a technique called selective de-saturation. Through this technique I can control the depth of the image while directing of my work can be seen in Las Vegas Woman Magazine and Las Vegas Bride Magazine. Shawnthe viewer’s line of sight to the focal point. I currently work as a freelance photographer. I often find ways to give back and have demonstrated my spirit of volunteerism by donating my time to photographing charity events for The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, The Out of the Darkness Overnight and The Caring Place.
